Wat zal je job inhouden?

Our client, a full-service provider for fastening technologies in the automotive industry, is looking for an inside sales engineer for their European headquarters in Genk.

By guaranteeing the best-in-class service this key account responsible key takes care of one major customer.

Your tasks are among others:

  •  You will analyze the request for quotation from the customer.
  • You are in close contact with various departments to prepare and present the best possible offer to the customer.
  • You are building a long-term trust relationship with this customer and ensuring that the customer’s needs and expectations are met.
  • Thanks to your helicopter view, you can identify opportunities for further growth and highlight potential risks.
  • In addition, you will also act as the liaison between the customer and different layers within the internal departments to ensure maximum service to the customer.
  • Revision and negotiation of commercial contracts supported is part of your job. Next to that, you will be responsible for the communication of new contracts within the own organization.
  • Implementation and follow-up of new customer projects.
  • You execute the operational plan as part of the global sales strategy and report the status regularly.

Profiel

  • Master’s degree or equivalent by experience
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role in sales (preferably in the automotive or another technical industry)
  • Technical interest is required, and mechanical or material knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: able to demonstrate trust, partnership and credibility in professional relationships and excellent teamplayer
  • Strong analytical capabilities
  • Good knowledge of English; fluency in French is a big plus
  • Knowledge of ERP software is a plus
